Sunil Bagal
The career of Sunil Bagal spans over thirty-four years, commencing from 1983, with the Government of Maharashtra in various capacities including Assistant Labour Commissioner, Founder Chairman of Pune Security Guard Board, Mathadi Board of Pimpri-Chinchwad, Sangli and the Secretary of the Cloth Market Board, Mumbai. The geographical spread of this long-standing career has been from Mumbai to Aurangabad and up to Sangli including Pune and Raigad Dist. In Mumbai alone, he was vested with the responsibilities of Mumbai Suburban West district, Mumbai Suburban East District and Rural Wing of Maharashtra State. With such exciting opportunities of working at the helm of these various bodies, Bagal has had the privilege to work with many people in the industry with varied and complex issues. He is remembered for his noteworthy contribution in resolving the landmark industrial disputes at Kirloskar Brothers, Kirloskar Pneumatics, Wheels India, Deepak Fertilizers, Thermax Industries, Wilo Mather & Platt, Century Enka, John Deere and JCB just to name a few. His vast knowledge of working with industrial laws, tenacity to close with a win-win outcome and extensive network is that lethal combination which can yield unbelievable results. Sunil Bagal retired from the services with the Government of Maharashtra as a Deputy Commissioner of Labour. Bagal’s works are influenced with his background of a master’s degree in social work. At Bagal and Kakade Associates, Sunil will bring in his expertise in industrial issues, contribute in betterment of trade relations and partner closely with those benefitting from his knowledge as trusted advisor.
Sambhaji Kakade
The career of Sambhaji Kakade spans over 28 years in the field of implementation of Industrial Law area.A graduate in Physics, he had a brief stint with Finolex Cables and Bajaj Auto. In 1988, he entered the worldof Industrial Law as a Labour Officer appointed by the State of Maharashtra. The geographic spread of his work spanned from Aurangabad to Mumbai until Kolhapur and including Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. This wide geographic base contributed to not only enhancing the exposure to various labour related issues in these areas, but also strengthened his authorities on legal matters emanating from the industrial corridor in this geography. Sambhaji Kakade soon became a trusted name across the industrial corridor and a conciliator of choice with various industrial stakeholders including Trade Unions, Industrialists and the large Industrial Relations fraternity. Sambhaji Kakade has in addition, represented as Chair Person of Security Guard Board, Pune and Mathadi Board, Pune. His drive for results has made him involved in resolving numerous industrial disputes, small and big, with an outcome which has influenced many at large and positively. Post his retirement from the services of Maharashtra Government as Deputy Commissioner Labour in July 2016, he is keen to have the industry benefit from the vast reserves of his knowledge through Advisory, Training and Consulting roles.
